Spring indie edit shop small

It’s been a while since I’ve spent a day lost in a treasure trove of small creative businesses online. Sharing & supporting indie makers is what first got me blogging & I’ve missed discovering new makers & revisiting old. So, after my previous Winter Indie Edit, I thought it was about time for a Spring one. Hopefully you’ll discover some new incredible talents and if you do make a purchase, let me know! I’d love to know if I’ve introduced you to someone special.

KT Robbins Ceramics mini bud vase | £28 | hand-thrown porcelain, perfect for a single stem. I interviewed Katie years ago for 91 magazine when she first started experimenting with porcelain so it’s lovely to see her progress. Wolf & Moon miro necklace | £30 | Elegant and playful necklace in hand-painted wood and brass, inspired by modern artist Miro. Zoe Morton Roads Ring, recycled brass | £95 | I think the road trip inspired profile & curves are beautiful. Lark & Fable macrame wall hanging, large | £70 | A simple but impactful piece to add texture to an empty space.

Megan Rose Clark ‘Pot of Gold’ embroidered wall hanging | £95 | The little rainbow-inspired addition is what I particularly love about this piece. Plus, Megan is based in Suffolk – hurray! We Are Stardust Reach for the Stars giclée print | £28 | I adore this. ‘…reminding us to aim high and reach all of 4.2 light years away to the Alpha Centurai star system.’ Paper by Her arms around you print | £35 | This would be a beautiful piece to hang in your bedroom. Kindred Quilting Co sunbeam pennant | £35 | The colour combo alone is reason enough to buy.

Beyond Beautiful, by Anuschka Rees | £9.99 (on Amazon, so could change) | ‘..the ultimate guide to building confidence in your body, beauty, clothes and life in an era of toxic social media-driven beauty standards.’ How to Live a Slower Life e-book, by Emma Lavelle | £9.99 | A guide to small changes you can make such as creating a slow wardrobe & creating a better work-life balance. Emma’s blog Field & Nest is absolutely worth spending time with too. Adore Your Cycle ebook, by Claire Baker (thisislifeblood.com) | £14 (if you sign up for Claire’s newsletter you get 20% off & loads of resources) | If you’re as clueless about your menstrual cycle & what it means to be a cyclical woman as I was, I’d highly suggest this ebook. Suddenly, your moods & emotions will start to make more sense. Womankind magazine | £5.99 | No celebrities, no fashion, no gossip. A new topic each issue, women’s stories from around the world: I learn so much each issue.

Old Faithful Co hammam moisturising serum | £18 | Unisex serum inspired by the hammams of Marrakech to moisturise, revitalise & brighten. Kindred & Wild lavender & chamomile bath salts | £26.50 | I interviewed Mughda last year about her gorgeous natural skincare brand & was kindly gifted these bath salts in return. They finally ran out & I’m really keen to replace them asap – they were a real ‘treat’ experience. Timmy’s shampoo bar | £5 | I already use soap instead of shower gel so this will be my next step. It’s ‘…handcrafted in Yorkshire by master soap makers who put the earth first with everything they do.’ | Smallest Light return to green soy aromatherapy candle | £14 | I’ve finally started to spend actual money on candles and it’s totally worth it. No chemicals; lavender, geranium & neroli essential oils; to ‘awaken your senses & connect you with Spring.’

Wildwoman subscription box | from £28.50 | A non-fiction & self-care subscription box, packed with beautiful items related to the book of the month. Each month I am more & more tempted to subscribe, I know it would bring so much value to my life. State of Liberty spring home retreat | £180 | An online retreat including elements of yoga, meditation, mindfulness, food, pampering, sleep, self-care & a wellbeing library. A physical box is also sent containing essential oils, a facemask, bath salts & body scrub. A real treat. Vibe & Flow 90 day manifestation & mindset goal-setting journal | £14.99 | Using the 12 universal laws along with daily mindset journalling to move you closer to where you want to be in life. Alice & Peg reset gift box | £49.95 | I bought an Alice & Peg gift box for a new mama friend recently & this one’s caught my eye as a gift to me – the sleep mask looks heavenly.

  1. It was such a lovely gift too! #iamthenewmama the baths salts and candles smelt amazing and the Joe’s teas were great for middle of the night feeding when you want something cosy because it’s cold but not caffeinated! Such a thoughtful gift for a new mum as normally the gifts you receive are baby centred and you need some pampering too, especially if you had a start like we did!
